escobert 112 Posted April 22, 2014 So I have been playing DayZ Epoch for the last month or so. I had purchased Arma II and Operation Arrowhead at the same time. I had been running into FPS issues and thought maybe having the other DLC might help since it has the better texture packs, I dunno. I purchased the Czech, British, and Private Army DLC's last night on the steam sale. After some wrong version issues and reinstalling them all and stopping auto updates on Steam, I went into Commander and updated Arma II with that and made sure my Epoch and DayZ were up to date. The community I am playing with has recently started a Napf server. I have Arma II up to date, DayZ and epoch all up to date. Now when I log into the server I can play for about 20 seconds and my screen goes completely grey and I have to close out the program. Any ideas?

If you're sure it's not your end / that you don't have scripts installed, try different servers. You can also try contacting the Admins of the server, as they will be able to tell you what it is. escobert 112 Posted April 22, 2014 Figured it out, I had turned off the steam beta file option in commander when I started having version issues to see if that'd help and had forgotten to turn if back on. Thanks though!
