I have low fps from 10-25 fps . Have good internet , my processor is Intel Celeron G540 (2 cores) , video card is AMD Radeon HD 7470 2gb , 4GB Memory Ram . Is my computer good to run dayz ? I want to play this game but with this fps its unplayable . I thing my computer is good but the processor is not very good . Im playing other good games with good requrements like Far Cry 3 or Sleeping Dogs and i dont have low fps and other issues but this dayz is unplayable with this fps and this is why im posting this topic to tell me how to fix it if it somehow.Im checked all internet to find how to fix this , i make the arma 2 documents and arma 2 OA fixing and other features but any of them doesnt worked.Or I need to go the shop and buy new processor or something else . Please comment and sorry for my English .  :)

ArmA 2: DayZ and DayZ Standalone are very CPU intensive games, so the problem is definitely your CPU.

If you want to play DayZ with decent frames, think about upgrading your CPU.

A newer Gen i5, or if you can afford it even an i7 should do it.

If you dont want to spend too much money, or dont like Intel,  go with the FX-8350from AMD, though i would prefer the i5 over the 8350.

Hope i could help you a bit.

Greetings

All your specs are like on the lower end of the food chain..good fps on even lowest settings should be nearly impossible imo.

What are the settings on the other games? You can't really compare a game with like 1km view distance with games with around 200m view distance even when dayZ isn't optimized yet. No offense but i'm amazed how people actually expect to play hardware demanding games on calculators on high settings.
