no such thing as friendly lol

Recommended Posts

Ran into my FIRST friendly player since I started playing again. I've been KOSd so many times. But I was in the small airfield trying to find a sidearm. I was up top in the tower when all the sudden this dude flew up the stairs and went straight back down. I almost knocked my keyboard over trying to hit the chat button. I said "friendly" like 5 times as I pulled my sks out and the dude came back up the stairs. He was fully loaded with military gear but he never even pulled a weapon out. It was a little kid and he was actually really cool. He gave me a handgun and ammo and mags and offered food and water. We traded and then he said "have a good day, by the way have this axe for zombies, bye". Couldn't believe it, finally ran into a cool player in game AND it was a little kid. I kept expecting him to turn around and blast me but he was very cool then just went his own way. I wish I ran into more people like that on there.

Met two friendly gamers today, supplied me with food and water and even gave me ammo! It was my first friendly encounter ever apart from a guy who ran away from me when I was unarmed lol

Generally you can tell by their voice, if they have a gun in their hand, basic stuff to see if they are a threat or not.

I met a now friend, younger player in game who ran at me with his gun out but his voice seemed friendly so I gave him a chance and he became an ally.

If you are in an airfield or army barracks.... well you will get KOS, not places to make friends.

I have yet to find a friendly player.  Everyone I've come across has killed me.  (due to me not being a shoot-first type of person)

It doesn't bother me much because I expect it, being the internet and all.  I do wish people were playing this game more for the role-playing aspect though, rather than the every-man-for-himself attitude.  Given enough role-playing, there would end up being plenty of PvP action because of people's egos/attitudes/etc.  The "I see you, I kill you" aspect of this game for many people take away from the whole experience, IMO.

I like to thin out the herd in this game.

I'll server hop server to server if I get bored some days, get a sniper rifle and all that, and just camp in the major PVP areas and wait for somebody to come by.

If a newspawn is shot at, I shoot at the shooter. If a low gear is shot at, same thing. If a low gear is being held up, I shoot at the robber. I will sit there for hours watching these PVP areas, then when I get bored, I drop all my stuff, run into town naked and commit suicide.

I then respawn and go looting on the 40 pop I joined.

I am friendly, but not to the wicked, I hunt them.

No rest for the wicked.

Not while you're singing sea shanties while sitting there.

If someone says he/she is friendly on a airfield the first thing you should do is to get ready for a fight lol
