You are running an incorrect version of Dayz code (or Epoch)

So I updated DayZ Epoch via Commander and today I can't seem to play on the first couple of servers I found. 

 

End of Days says I'm running 1.0.4.2 and its version is 1.0.4.1 (maybe that means whoever runs the server isn't up do date so I'm not compatible?)

 

Then another server said the same thing (except that one seemed like it was many versions older).

 

Is this normal and should I then just check the box for 'hide wrong mod version'?

Always make sure that your version matches the exact version of the server, otherwise it either won't work or you'll see the weirdest bugs occur.

Ah ok. Shame coz I have a character in progress in one of those. I guess they just didn't update yet as it's only one version out of sync.
