Zombie sounds

Just happened 2 times in a very short time. I got aggro, while inside a building, and a zombie was outside the door, with that annoying "meaow" sound.

From time to time (somehow related to my movements i suppose), it seemed to issue these sounds:

- the "tin-tin" you hear while you merge rounds in your inventory

- recoil 

- open soda

 

My concern was someone planning my death party, but i've checked out around and i'm pretty sure i was alone.

 

Did you ever heard zeds make those sounds?

I've noticed it's really bad on the experimental servers.  The 100 man servers it's constant which leads me to believe it's caused by the number of players because on lower population I don't here those sounds

I never really thought about that, but you know... that seems to make sense with my experience of audio glitches in DayZ.

It isn't zombies. It's an ambient sound bug that happens due to the game having trouble rendering sound radius for so many players.

I always thought it was bunny rabbits and bee sounds ?

does this also account for random can opening sounds?

In my experience, those sounds are signs that someone is or has been inside your radius. I learned to trust them and so far I have been right 80% of the time. At least inside cities. Hoping that sounds get worked on soon.

theres many threads on this already, and yes , the sounds are there, zombie, eat , drink, reload, etc , sometimes they are constant, and game ruining to be honest, i really hope it gets fixed fast
