Kitchen knife causes instant bleeding?

Hi, i was playing on experimental with a friend and long story short i found a kitchen knife. Tested it out on him 7 times and each hit he bled and bandaged...

 

But i am not sure if all melee weapons do this now? Or just the knife? I think it's pretty cool though, makes sense etc. :)

I'm pretty sure only the sharp weapons...

 

Also, be careful with the machete, its a one-shot kill to the head.
