Nwa best way to survive

Have a group of 3 people and wanted to venture to the nwa and curious what's the best way in and out and where to loOk for guns. I've seen soooo any videos of the douches that camp it with sniper rifle cause they have no life.[/align]

I just made it there tonight with a buddy of mine. Ironically, several people tried to murder us as we made our way to the NWAF from Cherno, but we didn't meet any resistance at NWAF itself. Look at a map, make a plan for how to get there using treelines. Avoid open fields. Do not fire your gun - and if you have to, get the hell out of there ASAP (gunfire draws PK'ers like none other). Barracks have the best loot. Do not run across the airfield itself unless you want a quick trip back to the Southern beach.

As a side note, the reward for our trouble was an Ak-47. Kind of disappointing, but that's the luck of the draw. And just in case you were expecting there to be sparkling halls lined with assault rifles and NVG's: the kinds of crazy yields you hear about from NWAF are typically clans or well-organized groups systematically humping the loot respawn all day long.

Honestly if you are wanting to avoid a lot of bandits trying to kill you, then go play a less populated server and loot the airfield. The more populated the server, the more the odds go up that you are going to run across other players and potential bandits.

Just go fast in and fast out. That is dont bring up the gear/loot menu unless it is a weapon you want to loot or ammo you need.

You have 3 so should be just fine with one guy covering the 2 who loot. The only reason you die in NWA is you take too long to loot, or hopper loads in near you. That why you keep a guy looking around. 4 out of 5 times he will see the hopper loading in.

Go in the MOST populated server

Hoppers are in the low pop servers and there are the hunters also =]

I have camped NWA with 4 snipers on a 80/100 server and have seen 3 people so far in 2-3 hours =/

It's actually the exact opposite

Low pop server = everyone thinks it's safe to go to NWAF = higher chance of getting slaughtered

High pop server = everyone thinks it's not safe to go to NWAF = lower chance of getting slaughtered

Yeah because the number of times I have raided the NWA with my group we have encountered one guy, and he logged. I've done it while servers dead and while populated. This field of slaughter I have yet to see.

Either way it was my advice and my opinion for the guys question. In the end the guy can do whatever he wants.

Like others have said, stick to the trees, keep quiet, and keep distant from the zeds. If you alert one and have to book it out, you make yourself a target. I was able to solo loot it without any resistance (it was odd, no one was there so I had free reign over it) and also, in a few vids I've seen of people camping the NWA, they chilled in the tree line ~300m+ away with the sniper and watched the tower and hangars... So careful with that.
