Roleplay in DayZ?

Any game can be used to roleplay. But not all have a large toolbox which allows for decent roleplay. DayZ fits into that category.

 

There isn't enough to do yet, plain and simple. My character isn't going to be defined by what loot I fancy at any given moment. He's going to be (if you choose you look at it as a "character" as our avatars are more representative of the player than anything) a product of his actions. As of now, the only real actions are looting and shooting. Some variation of those.

 

That's pretty much it.

No, I had sex in highschool.  But I did actual roleplaying in games.  Maybe you overuse troll.  Jokes can be fun.  And when did I ever say I'd KoS?  Remove stick from anus (unless you are roleplaying now, then good job!) and look at them as humor.  Why would I want to ruin my my own character for a few funny lines?  Well, for YouTube, thats who.  But I don't KoS and Roleplay.  That seems like a waste of time.

Im really looking forward to see RP servers. RP adds that extra immersion and depth to dayZ.

Havnt roleplayed since the mod... well... In a game at least lol

I haven't RP'd since my pen and paper days.  Hell, even when I got into MMORPG's I used to play only on the pvp server then checked out the RP server and man, what a difference.  Way better community, better feel for gaming and everything.  And I still didn't RP but I didn't get in the way or make fun of the people who did
