Sword? - Soviet Shashka

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I've seen there has been lots of interest in swords such as katanas but very logically people have objected on the grounds of continuity. So therefore, I'd like to propose we can find the odd soviet shashka, swords that have been used in the Caucasus since the 12th Century. The swords were adopted by the Cossacks in both Russia and Ukraine and were even used during the early soviet era. Thus I think that it is not implausible to find such a sword as a rare item in an ex-Soviet state in the area. So here are some photos:

Beautiful isn't it?

So I guess it should be relatively rare, as powerful as a fire axe but beneficial as it's more agile and quicker to use. Maybe when they implement stabbing for bayonets this could also be used in that way too?

Anyways, so would be people like to see something like this?

Looks good, although I think that it would be very rare to find, maybe in a museum or something similar.

Maybe something that could be found in the piano house very rarely - like the owner's collectors item? Would be cool if we had a museum too though.
