German Anti-Tank Rifles – Panzerbüchse

Recommended Posts

This  7.92 mm rifle is from ww 2 that would fire hardened steel cores that would release tear gas after firing into a tank. It's extremely heavy and the shots could easily be used for crowd control with the tear gas or just shred through targets. pzb39.jpg

And you would still find these anywhere but in  the museum?

To quote Katana67,

Chernarus is a fictional country. With a fictional history. Existing in a fictional universe. With fictional circumstances being applied to it.

If for one moment you think a weapon is too rare/expensive/unused/regulated in the real-world to be found in Chernarus - See the FN FNX, M1911 (rendered as a modified Kimber Warrior), and the Amphibia S.

A bolt action, 13kg gun that is chambered to use only a very particular kind of high velocity 7.9mm round.

Besides the fact that an AT rifle makes no sense, good luck using it when they'll add the gun encumbrance.

7.92x94...  Very ver rare, was even rare during ww2...  The round was also not very effective...  If we must go bigger than 7.62x54R, then I'd think the .338 should be the absolute limit.

Yes let's add Dodge Rams and whatnot from the states because it's fictional and we already have a ton of ARs. Because it's fictional doesn't mean you can keep adding every stupid thing. Things that make sense...ABSOLUTELY!!!

I suppose sooner or later we will see caliber creep going to fifty cals then to 20mm/30mm autocannon rounds, ending with 125mm tank guns :)

Not that i would not agree with you, but i'm afraid a precedent has already been set by addition of FN FNX and Amphibia S.

Those are nowhere close to being ultimate weapons though.

It doesn't mean it's a good idea to add all the obscure, rare and ancient weapons we can think of.

Yes, lets. Then we can add nukes as an ultra rare mega-weapon.

Keep the content reasonable.

I reckon things like PTRDs wouldn't be impossible to find in the odd attic or basement of a farmhouse in a former soviet country, 14.5mm cant be fired on the move or from the shoulder, because why not

I dunno, maybe if we see armored cars and up-armored civilian vehicles it could be a good idea.
