Bad Serial Number Error on setup

I have been away for a while.  I just re installed everything through steam.  I am now getting an error on setup that says " bad serial number given during setup"  Any help would be much appreciated.

• Go start menu select run
• Type in regedit hit enter.
• Select local machine hit control F.
• Search DayZ
• Delete the dayz folder in bohemia interactive and bohemia interactive studios folders.
• Launch steam as admin.
• Go to games library right click on dayz.
• Go to properties
• Local files
• Verify gamecache
