Does everyone get tired of all the zombie sprinting after you?

Would you like some of them slowed down?

For a Pro theres a con.

People of Dayz, a Juggernaut, walks at the pace of a Normal walker, but when sighted bye this creature it walks with a purpose to rip you apart.

That was the Pro, now the con.

Does 3 times the dammage per hit.

More muscular than a normal zombie and taller. Which helps you differinciate them from other zombies.

Any more Ideas on what could be added to it?

Note this is just a suggestion that could be added to the game later on.

I think Rocket eventually wants a life cycle of sorts added to Zed behaviour. Newer Zeds or those that have recently eaten will be faster, possibly stronger, while older Zeds will be slower, weaker.

Boss zombies? Dont know. I suppose stronger types of zombies would be OK ie: soldiers with armour and helmets requiring more shots to bring them down. I dont want to see the Resi Evil Nemesis though.

Resident evil wasnt even in my mind lol, I wasjust thinking of a taller human that just has substantial dammage and moves slower, but if you get caught bye it your screwed unless you have a couple friends to help back you up.

Another type that I think would be interesting would be the type that plays dead until you get close. I've seen dead ones around buildings and what not. Would freak me out to see one reach up and start pounding on me. Would also add to the fear factor, some people would unload clips on already dead zombies just in case.

Yeah, i always expect those soldier bodies you find to suddenly rear up and rip into my ankles.

The way the zombies are now is just perfect. I for one ( I know alot of ppl that would agree with me here ) would not like this game to turn out like left4dead and dead island... DayZ is the best zombie sim out of them all and the most realistic.

Let's see. We already have crawlers, monkeys and sprinters currently. Some dressed in civilian clothing, police, military as well. I think we could start messing around with new types of zombies here and there.

I like the beast mode zombie. Slow, maybe a slow jog. But does 2x/3x the damage of a normal Zed. The fake dead zombie was a good idea too. This would make you think twice about walking past them. Their alert radius should be very small though. Speed on sprinters should be reduced a little bit I think. Their ability to make you bleed and break your bones should be reduced with the more blood that you have. What about a :D howler zombie? A zombie that is extra vocal, which can call other zombies to aid. You would have to be careful when sneaking around these. What about simply, a walker? They are alerted to you, but do not run at you. They could be like your Night of the Living Dead style zombies.

I like this type of conversation. We can add potentially more challenging zombies to that game without actually changing how they are alerted to you.

It's an alpha' date=' and no one has suggested any super spitting or behemoth crashing through walls zombies. No one has suggested anything as ludicrous as a zombie with a 20 foot tongue that can pull you up buildings.

If everyone said that everything was perfect, we would never progress. Alpha is the time to test things out and see if they work or not.

I would love there to be super rare but ultra deadly mutated zombies that you can come across near high valued places. Would be neat if it had a whole different ai to it such as completely blind but super sound sensitive (with like the ability to track distant sniper fire to a source) but that might be asking too much. Then all I'd need to do is watch and make a video of bandits getting eaten by said super zombie while they sniper camp places like cherno.

But as subtle changes go I would like to see things such as military zombies be slower than others since they carry all that gear and are harder to kill.

Hmmmm... mutated?

What would be cool? Picture this, Your headed to a supermarket, snuck past all the walkers and crawlers only to discover the entrance is block by 2/3 zombies hacking away on a corpse. Can't get to close to them for they will notice you and attack or maybe they to busy feasting on the body that you could sneak by?

That would be a fun if these were all over the map on rare loot locations
