Stuck in a room (new here)

I just started this game and I wound up on a second level building and stuck in a room because of a broken leg. Last time I played, there was still the suicide option and that is what I was about to do but... It isn't there any more. So... I'm stuck in this god forsaken room with the only way out leering at me.

 

Any advice? I have nothing but the clothes on the back.

crawl up some stairs  to fall off, or to a zombie, or find morphine - also sticks and a bandage or rag make a splint

I have only clothes, a Russian Beret, and I'm in a room that prevents me from crawling out because of some stupid wall unit. There are no stairs, windows or anything to fall or even attract a zombie to munch on me.

 

Who's idea was to remove the suicide option?

If you're in a big town you could always log into a full server and yell in VoIP that you need someone to come kill you

Would love to. I've been stuck in there for days now. For some reason, a wall unit is blocking the character's crawling motions from positioning to the doorway and actually crawling out. Whenever I try to get close, I seem to grow a long turtle-like neck and then glitch until the HEAD is out but the rest of the body is behind the damned thing.

Weird, take some screen shots or vid so the devs can see.

 

But yeah Tentacles idea is probably the best. Do you have a gun? You could shoot it and hopefully attract someone or at least some Zoms to help kill you faster. 

 

Other options would be leave the game running and hopefully you starve to death or contact the admin of the server.

For the Devs: I happened to be going down the stairs in one of the apartment buildings north west of Cherno, whatever they call that city, and when I got to the stairs on the first floor, I fell through into a room next to it. The room had some windows, and I spawned in what looked to me, like a large cabinet type thing...

 

Solution: I would not give up due to my amazing gear, after vaulting backwards and forwards and all around, I escaped the narnia like closet, and ended up in a room, 1st floor, with windows. Time after time again I tried to step through the windows, and somehow after attempting this for a good 5 minutes, it worked. Broken legs might be a different story, however you can do actions that involve legs, not actions that involve moving from point a to point b.

I had an SKS but I dumped all my gear in an effort to see if I could squeeze through somehow but it didn't work. I can't seem to take screen shots of my predicament either since it just takes a picture of my desktop whenever I'm in game for some reason.

Problem has been fixed. A dude named Travis happened to be walking by and I panicked into finding the direct comm key and spammed keys until he turned around.
