Can't Hear Any Other Players

I can't hear any players/see any players msges. I was wondering if it is just my steam i doubt it my computer i have a great pc and I have re installed the game few times and even tried using it on my brothers computer yet when ever i download dayz i can not hear other players. Would I have to try and contact steam support or something or is there anyway you guys would be able to help. "players can hear me though"

Could you elaborate? Are you standing next to them when they talk? Are they your friends? it could just be that they aren't pressing the right button.

 

I know, it sounds kind of dumb, but you'd be surprised.

No its not that cause i have been playin for 4 about a week and me and my friends do like kidnapping and i cant really do anything cause i cant hear them XD so i just stand there watching XD, and no loads of people have tryed to say stuff XD
