666roach 1 Posted April 9, 2014 Can someone please help me? Im having major lag problems with dayz and i don't know why ive tried almost everything ranging from putting everything to low to adding launch parameters and such. In a panthera server or in any server in open or non populated fields i get 25 fps most in cities or populated i get less than 10 fps. Im in a panthera server right now and im consistently getting 25 Fps. Thanks to anyone who at least attempts to help me is tremendously appreciated-Gtx 660 3gb - AMD A8-3870 3Ghz- 8 Gb Ram- i dont know if this may be a problem but im in my house and my air conditioner is broken at the moment and idk if my pc is affected by the low air. enforcer1975 1111 Posted April 9, 2014 If you reduce the details too much it will backfire. What parameters did you use? How many scripts does the server run? You should at least be in the 40fps range with your rig. Never had problems with my i7 2600K with a GTX580 when i played it. Maybe it's the server slowing you down, how many players are online? How far is the view distance? The higher the view distance the more data has to be sent between clients and server > more traffic + scripts = low server fps = low client fps. Zombiegirl 3 Posted May 22, 2014 Usually its the server. I you have bad lag most of the time the server hosting is crap. My experience anyway.
Texboygamer 2 Posted June 2, 2014 Your A8 could be the problem, but considering you have a GTX 660, turn all of your graphics on high, it puts strain on your GPU, not your CPU, your CPU is your bottleneck.
