drakeducaine 2 Posted April 6, 2014 Not sure if this is the right place, but let's see if I can get some help :D. I know most people play with mouse and keyboard, but my current room setup requires that I be in a very uncomfortable position to play that way. Soooo, I've hooked up my DS4 to my PC and using DS4 tool so it works as an X360 controller. Everything works fine, except I can't figure out how to pull up my fists/weapon and swing it. Also, When running at full sprint, I can't seem to make my body turn with the camera (Mouse when using M&KB, Right Stick when using Controller) Any ideas or tips? THANKS! TheHuntsMan87 194 Posted April 6, 2014 Ummm im not one for the use of controllers {not against them just dont use them that often unless my son wants a game on the playstation 4} iv heard of some people using xpadder and have got some sort of joy out of it. Heard they could draw there weapon and at least fire...pretty hard to fit all the keyboard buttons onto a controller buddy. sorry i couldnt help more, keep us updated if you fix this problem tho :)
drakeducaine 2 Posted April 7, 2014 Looks I'll just play with my mouse and keyboard. I just hate sitting up and playing on my pc haha. Rather sit back and relax while I'm gaming.
Mos1ey 6301 Posted April 7, 2014 (edited) I believe there are currently some issues with controller support but having never used one I'm not 100% sure. Xpadder would allow you to map keyboard controls to your gamepad therefore bypassing any issues though. Personally I think I'd take uncomfortable mouse and board gaming over gamepad gaming anyways. :D Edited April 7, 2014 by Mos1ey
drakeducaine 2 Posted April 7, 2014 Not me lol. I've been a console gamer since I started playing MW2 on 360. :p. Zeromi 4 Posted April 7, 2014 hey buddy check out this thread http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/167630-any-succesful-xbox-controller-configs-out-there/ My advice on crouching needs a little tweaking - try using the Y button for the "C" or "stand" key. if you need help after that, let me know. I'm just feeling my way too so I'm learning as I go - that guide won't be perfect but it's a good start
