Aluminum Bats

DayZ should implement aluminum bats.

• They should be able to slay a zombie after 2-3 hits.
• Should be able to be painted.

They should be paint-able, sure. Would an aluminum bat survive more zombie hits than a wooden one? If so, the wooden bat degradation rate should increase.

the melee seems like will be awhile before is solid.

Yes! Not to mention all that's needed would more or less be a reskin of the current bat model. I wouldn't mind seeing more "reskins" of current melee weapons just to add variation. Silver pipe wrenches (which are generally aluminum and much lighter) in addition to the red cast iron pipe wrenches we see, maybe a bit more modernized splitting axes with black polymer handles, things of this nature aren't really game changing and definitely not a priority, but variation is always nice to see.
