Thats great. Its fun to get your first kill, it really is. Just dont let your style of playing and others style of playing affect how you feel about what happens in game. Server hoppers, campers, exploiters of bugs, etc.. they all get to play their way. So do you.

 

Dont feel like just because you can assume to some degree that some guy you just shot may have been a total douchebag, that he actually is. You may have just shot some guy who lost connection, could not remember his last server, and picked the one that you guys were in. He could have been one of the most helpful players ever, using all that loot to give to those in need, and you just ended his life that had been strong for over 200 hours straight. He may have never even thought of shooting you guys, even if you shot at him first. You'll never know, because you did not talk to him first. ;) See he was spawning in, you could have easily moved to where he could have done nothing and you could have "held him up".. maybe made a friend, or in the least had a story a bit better than I shot a guy who was not even technically playing the game yet.

Server hopping is NOT an exploit. Server hopping is NOT cheating. Having 2 guns is NOT cheating.

Your all bitching about server hopping llike its illegal :/ When dean adds loot respawn back your all going to loot cycle places anyways and thats just as bad so why dont you all pull your panties up and get real. Server hopping happens because servers get raped by other server hoppers so its a no win situation for most people it has to be done. Nuff said .......

Haha lets all be honest, you would have shot him too...The only time you would have tried to talk to him is if you didnt have a weapon and he had a helmet on... Then the friendly dance would have commenced, the only bad thing the op did was bragging about it in a forum and calling it an exploit XD

he shot someone because he was a coward...what if...for a second. this guy was actaully server hopping, the first thing he would do is un load his clip into him due to the fact he wouldnt want to lose all his gear. plus its dayz, there is the killing element in the game. Pleas come back when you have valid point

Key part of that sentence being 'what if', you can not just label someone who joins a server a server hopper because you killed him, That makes no sense. He is however an idiot for logging out in a building, that is rule number two for anyone who wants to retain their character.

Way I see it, you log out in the middle of a high value target, you deserve whatever happens upon relogging. Hell, I've done it before, learned the had way to. He reacted the same as 98% of us. He sent the kid back to the shore.

I don't see how keeping some stranger alive contributes to my own survival, considering I positioned myself to that area just fine. People only slow you down, and if your worth half a damn, you'll never be seen first. Only point of criticism, work on your aim. One shot, one kill. Spray and pray is in poor taste.

If someone spawns in a high loot room , they're probably server hopping, I ( and i assume many other players) go into a nice countryside tree line when logging off, because we want to be safe.

How could you even possibly know he was a server hopper. What if he was logging on for the first time that day, and he happened to log out at the airfield for whatever reason. And you killed him. This is why the server hopping prevention methods are utterly fucking retarded. Sure, we still need a way to stop people from server hopping. But the system in place now is just an annoyance because LOOT DOESN'T RESPAWN.

 

You'd fucking think devs with any semblance of intelligence could see this but apparently fucking not. Lets wait until the very end to implement respawning loot, or how about not at all. That sounds like a good idea, lets force people to fucking server hop, wait through a fucking stupid timer, disconnect, repeat, and then finally get in to another empty server.

 

All because the devs are inbred retarded fucks.

On the other hand, people complain about server hopping, even using 3rd person camera is a form of cheat for some. But no one complains about teamspeak, isnt that cheating as well?
