Do Choppers Respawn Loot?

I'm asking this question because I have found a crashed chopper and it had a regular FAL and two m14's with it and I moved them, taking one of the M14's.

I then logged off for the day and when I had returned I went to check the Chopper (Zombies had respawned) and nothing was around it, so I waited. Checked some nearby loot areas and then came back to the chopper and still nothing had spawned.

I eventually left and went to an area a good distance away for more gear and then logged off. I the logged back on today and went to check on the chopper and low an behold...

No loot...

So my question is this,

Does the loot around crashed helicopters respawn or is it a one time thing?

They're prime looting zones; you probably missed the window 'cause someone else came along and grabbed the gear.

the server I found it on had less then 10 people and I've only seen one person near that area in the last two days I've been around it. I've gone through buildings before cycling loot and it respawns fairly regular.

But with the chopper I found it seems to not spawn ever.:s

Pretty sure choppers are a 1time loot thingy until server restart and they change location.

Sometimes they spawn loot, sometimes they do not. If the chopper you are at has no loot, move to another location, even if other players have been there, there is usually "something" left to dig through at least -- which should be an indicator of whether or not the particular chopper you are scoping has possible loot.

Nope. No loot respawn.

From my experience they don't respawn until the server restarts.
