Can you farm heli crash sites?

A couple of times when going to the NW airfield I have found people inside the barracks taking eveything outside and dropping it on the ground. After some testing, this causes the barracks to respawn after about 10 minutes.

I was wondering if this is possible at a heli crash site? Or do they despawn after looting?

Helicopter crash sites spawn loot only when they first appear. I have tested this many times, leaving halfway across the map and back. Zombies respawn though.

Nope. It's all first-come, first-serve with chopper loot.

I really hope that they do respawn loot - I've found a heli , with bizon and 2 FALs nearby...I've gathered all other garbage and removed it so it can spawn new loot,but seems that my work was for nothing.

Im really dissapointed - I was hoping for a sniper riffle.

They don't respawn loot unless the server is restarted (Which should change heli positions anyway)

Yeah doesn't respawn tried it too
