Empty backpack models + different carriable containers.

Backpacks should have models for various states of fill.

 

There should be more carriable containers like plastic bags, purses, suitcases, sports bags, satchels, tool boxes, fanny packs etc. Anything you can think of. 

 

Just a little something I saw as missing. Post ideas if you have any.

I prefer the home made courier bag with added sticks,it's low profile so easy to look over your shoulder when running away..... ;)

and it has helped cure me of being a loot Hog :)

 

All great ideas,suitcases etc. pretty much anything that should be laying around that could be used

would like to see more like plastic bags for adding stuff to,to add to a backpack to hold more

having the large plastic bags doubling up for home made raincoats...that go overtop of whatever clothes are being worn!

I hate that when putting on a rain coat,your character takes of whatever he is wearing to put on the rain coat,doesn't make sense to me

Same as taking of his T-Shirt when putting a coat on...who really does that in RL ?

Yeah, I was thinking recently that clothing sections should be more diverse. Something like:

 

Head (Hats, caps, helmets, etc.)

Eyes (Glasses, goggles, etc)

Face (Masks)

Neck (Scarfs, camo, bandanas, etc)

Inner torso (T-shirts, shirts, etc)

Middle torso (Hoodies, tactical shirts, etc)

Outer torso (Jackets, coats, vests, chest holster, etc)

Shoulders/arms (Armbands or some kind of holster)

Elbows (guards?)

Hands (Gloves)

Legs (Pants)

Thighs (Holsters, attachable pockets, etc)

Knees (guards?)

Inner feet (socks, rags, etc) - many forget how important is proper feet protection in order to survive ;)

Outer feet (shoes and alike)

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for this, since I know how much time it would take to develop, but since DayZ is going towards a strict survival sim, one must remember that proper clothes become essentially one of the most important aspects when there is no immediate electricity, heating, light or transportation.

I was thinking along the same lines. Backpacks, vests, and cloths having an action menu option to "fold up" when empty allowing you to collapse them to a 12 item to place in your inventory but cannot be filled

I think the idea of something like plastic bags would be a great idea especially now when they are making the weather affect the players.

The toolbox is as awell as confirmed you have to go loot the town for tools which I also think is a good idea.

All I need is a massive trunk to store all my loot, which could go in the back of a pickup truck at some point, maybe a refrigerator in the back as well :3

As for personal loot... All I need are cargo pants, hunters jacket, and a backpack, I would like a vest

And it seems clothing takes up one space anyway, but helmets take up 1-4 spaces
