Are experimental servers down right now?

When I try to set my game to experimental, it doesn't download anything like it used to, and it will allow me to join stable branch even though I have it specified in my properties to opt into the experimental. When I filter servers, no experimentals show up. Is anyone able to join them and if so, does anyone know why the game doesn's seem to be recognizing that I want to play experimental and doesn't download the update for it? I've been playing on them for a couple months so I don't know what has changed.

Well, to my knowledge they have been down for quite a while now. Because I have tried to join them for the past 1 1/2 weeks now. :/
