Game breaking bugs need fixing ASAP!

Recommended Posts

1. Spawning in the middle of the fucking air randomly instead of where you last logged out! This happens randomly on any server.

2. Items put into the backpack are not saved after log out! When you log out it should be saved straight away!

Fix it now. ty.

Umm, yeah. That's, like. We know?

Why does this thread exist again? Do you really imagine the developers are going to read it and say "Oh, shit! We were suppoesd to be FIXING those bugs. We've just been sitting around baking pie and playing ping pong. No wonder people are upset. Lets get back to work guys. Good thing he made that thread or we would have wasted the whole Summer!"

Jagoff.

It sure does seem there are a lot of 'fix it naow' bugs... And everyone has their own set they would like to have attended to.

Perhaps i could recommend the search button?

Or i could opt in to follow the example of these peeps, and just create a thread saying 'this is what people need to start doing NAOW!' and in there talk about how underutilized the search function on the forums is :)

Been playing for some time, several months now, and i've never encountered the problems you've stated.

And these are certainly not 'game breaking bugs' as you put it, more mild annoyances, such as this thread

Well, technically, spawning in mid-air could be a gamebreaking bug. But only if it continues to persist after respawns. Since you'll die. Every time. Forever.

And that tends to be a classic gamebreaking bug.

But, as with you, I've never experienced these bugs myself. Doesn't rule them out as existing, but it doesn't appear they're all that common.

What "seems" to work for me, is ensuring I log on as flat of ground as I can find, and no where near trees. Otherwise, at times you will get dropped, and you will get hurt, or possibly killed as my fellow 15+ day survivor found the hard way.

As far as the backpack save/revert, I ditched a 1911 I had in my pack like 5 times and the thing just kept coming back. Eventually it will get saved, who cares if you loose a few cans of beans or soda.

PS: I would imagine this has been covered in the "Bug Reports" section... I've probably lost more than you've ever had in DayZ... quit your qq / demanding tone or do us all a favor and rage quit.

I think that was a hacker. Happened to me and everyone else on the same server once. Respawn or wait for impact.

That seems to happen when you put stuff in your bag during connection problems and log off before the problems are resolved.

This however seems to be a problem connected to mild temporary retardation.
