Community Event today for New Players: Get high-end loot!

So I have grown bored with my character on the stable regular servers (non-hardcore) and rather than going out in a blaze of glory so I can start over, Ive decided to give my gear away to some lucky new players.

 

I will be running a Community Event today on the STABLE REGULAR SERVERS. Again, non-hadrcore for those who do not know. The event will be held today at approx. 1pm PST, this is in roughly 3 hours. Please sign-up for the event by stating, "I'm in!" below with your in game name listed, thank you!

 

Your goal, should you choose to participate is to get to the NWAF, specifically the Southern area near the barracks and jail located at the SW corner of the North West Airfield complex. This is also known as the international airfield. Get to that location and await instructions. I will post here at approx. 1pm PST with exact loot locations and which server this will be on. You may log in and out on any server you wish prior to this event going live. I will post the server first, then loot locations here at around 1pm PST. Once that post goes live, you will have an undetermined amount of time (until server restarts) to acquire the loot before it disappears forever. 

 

There are only 2 rules:

1. Come as a fresh spawn or risk being shot to death by those who are helping me keep this from being a bloodbath, sniper-fest. No weapons in hand while at the airfield unless its from acquiring the loot being given up in this event. Melee is ok, no firearms or pistols please. Your best bet, come straight to the airfield as a fresh spawn and only loot for food/water along the way.

 

2. Prior to me posting the location of the loot, all players involved must be logged out/in near the Southern Barracks section of the NWAF. This is located here: http://www.izurvive.com/#c=34;-75;6 Anyone seen logging in, in the Middle or Northern section, or seen running around these parts prior to my posting loot locations risks being shot to death by said security team. 

 

This is meant to be a safe and fun experience for all involved, but once I post those loot locations the security team will relax and it becomes a every man for himself scenario. If you find the loot, you must protect yourself from others in the area or log out immediately. Your choice. :)

 

Here is the gear you may acquire if you are lucky enough. Loot will be divided into a minimum of these 3 locations

1. 100% Pristine - Camo Mosin with Long Range Scope, Compensator, Bipod + PU scope and 100+ rounds of ammo.

2. 95% Pristine - M4 with MP magpul parts (handguard and buttstock) + other attachments + mags + ammo.

3. Hunter Backpack, assorted gear (FNX pistol w/attach., camo clothing, etc.) - all pristine. 

 

 

Most of what is being given away is rare loot, in pristine condition, and just what any new player would need/want to survive. If you're lucky enough, you may get all of the loot yourself, or you may die trying.. or just come up empty handed. Either way, at that point you will be at the NWAF and can begin to loot there if you can survive! ;)

 

This is NOT a trap, everyone who follows the rules will not be harmed in any way. :D

I would love to help out, but cant risk the event by doing that ;) 

 

I'd say kill yourself now.. jump off of something tall. And run as a fresh spawn to the area.. log out, & await further instructions :)

Besides, your chances are very high.. this is happening soon, people will need time to get there and its Friday afternoon when most are at work/school

You should still show up.. there is much, much more other loot, and that M4 you found would be best replaced by the one I have. It has full MP parts on it, which make it much more accurate..

You should come, swap out for the better weapons if you get there first, that way even those that are late may get your weapons as a side prize! :D

loooool, as if, ran all the way to nwaf, and bare in mind iv had this game for well over 3 months (had mod for some time now) and

1) never gone to nwaf since buying standalone after what happens in mod when u get there,

2) never fired a shot from a gun in my life in standalone, im a melee wielding helpful friendly type

3)get to nwaf on a server of about 6 people and some how accidentally fire off the mosin scaring the shit out of myself

4) instantly get return fired upon and manage to get some where in some bushes and log out for this bloody event..... i knew i should of stayed in bere, this can only get worse XD

:P dood i literaslly never fired a gun in sa, never needed to im not that guy, but fuck me i just scared the shit out of myself and some other random dude lmfao, it was like i shot BANG, 2 seconds later as if to say HI there was an answer shot. i think it was more of a heads up on my firing than a shot at me cos i didnt get any kind of visual feedbnack to signify it was aimed at me, i presume if you take fire you get the suppressed (flash to saturated white) colour briefly to let you know DEM BULLETS NEARLY KILLEDS YOU

just so your guys dont shoot me, i am actually now carrying an empty m4, a mosin with a broken scope and a fire axe, im a vietnamese ninjah in a boony hat and a uk assault vest from whats i gooked some bastard back in nam :) so its a little bit worn out

 

pls make sure they dont gank me i only have a rifle in hand as i cant keep two on my back ;) i wont kill no one till rules says i can then they are all screwed
