ReddogTn 3 Posted March 28, 2014 Hello I been playing Dayz alot off, and on since first mod. Recently tried out the Breaking point as well. Read alot of there problems etc. Dev's on Breaking point. Had a big issue with lag from loose loot thur the map. Causing crashing low FPS etc. There answer to this problem was to put all loot in containers. fixed the issue. Stopped and thought about that a few. That was a really smart move why didnt DayZ think of this?? So what I wanted to bring up And hope this gets read be Rocket. I saw where you had in plain to make fridge and prombly other things where we can open and put stuff in them. That would be a great way to put loot in the game.. One where have u ever seen food just laying around? or guns what ever. putting food in the fridge cleans up the game makes more realistic as well reduce the amount which players have to load in. So helps fps crash's etc. As well as not loot falling under the map.Guncase for guns attachments what ever. Dressers for cloths and stuff. cleans up the game alot. makes more real. And Hopfully helps alot on the problems with FPS. Some loot I can see be set around the map. Like Axes stuff. maybe just thrown down in the heat of the moment thing. So some random drops I can see. But more random drops more the server has to load, As we have to load. If this is correct and really helps with the lag issue loading stuff in. Then allows for alot more loot, Without worry. Aside from bugs. And allows more Zombies. Which what the game about AS well Survival. So I ask to please read. And I would like to see this in the game For real feel, As well as easyer one you the devs and players to enjoy what you have created. All in all great game. Still a long way to go. I look forward to the hunting and some sort of storage space. ATM cant cook stakes up to much room and nothing other the players to kill. Which means get old fast and alot of Bandits. Which to much kills the game for most people. I'm taking a break till hunting is in atleast. But that's me. Thanks for you're time. I hope this idea gets tossed around some at the very least. guppy22143 1081 Posted March 28, 2014 Rocket said it isn't loose items causing the lag, but rather the way the game renders polygons.

Thirdthorpe 87 Posted March 28, 2014 I was reading the interview with Dean Hall about leaving the Dayz project and I remember one line that stuck out in which he described his skills as being able to talk people into making decisions. "He was the guy that could talk someone into approaching a cliff and he could talk them into taking the plunge".I'm assuming he was refering to a cliff roughly 29.99 feet high. Sorry, that was my tangent for the day. Anyways, yeah searchable containers seem like a good idea but I can understand random objects being left out as well. I imagine people packing as quickly as they could before evacuating and leaving miscellaneous items out. Also for some of the weapon spawns that occur in the open I wouldn't mind seeing those weapons spawn near a bunch of blood-stains on the floor/walls or near bones. Something to imply that the weapon's former owner met an unexpected end. I think that would explain its random appearance.
