weapon attachments not rendering, help please

hi, i got an issue i cant seem to fix.

when i pick up an m-4 , all the possible attachments dissapear when i go to aim or bring the weapon up.

they are there, they just wont show, not any of them.

ive tried everything i can think of, settings, reinstalling , dying, nothing helps.

 

any help would be great, thanks in advance!

I have this too, but when I take them into my hands, all the attachments start to show again. TBH, I'm clueless I wouldn't know how to fix it

It's a well-known bug. Attachments disappear/flicker in third-person when looking around.

 

Is this occurring in first-person?

yup in first person. i know the flickering in and out bug, but this is worse. they compleatly vanish

In the settings, over resolution, try changing it to 200% and see if it happens. Then go back to 100%. It happens to all of us, but for me in 200% it doesn't happen as often.

From my experience it's just a flickering bug.

well its kinda the same sure, but it doesnt flicker in and out. its just gone .

This just happened to me too... I dont know whats going on, i can see all my attachments in my inventory, i can deploy the bipod, change up my attachments from the acog to a red dot... But as soon as i ads, all i see is my iron sights, i got shot by a shotgun yesterday and ruined my vest and shirt.... But no bleeding... May be the shotgun ruined my gun too? Ive changed m4s but still the same thing

Yup, i thought so.... So what i wanna know is... A fix for it.... As the OP posted... Most of the time theres like simple fixes for stuff like this, like getting stuck in a wall or lagging like hell coz you have ruined containers or stuff....

THIS WORKS:

 

Go to your Steam Library, right click DayZ

 

Go to Properties

 

Click LOCAL FILES tab

 

Click VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE

 

....

 

restart DayZ and your attachments should be back!  My pistol wasn't rendering the red dot scope or anything else and nothing fixed it except this. I saw it posted in a stream yesterday and it worked.

Sorry about that! It might have been coincidence but I'd exited servers, rejoined, chose different servers, waited hours, etc, and as soon as I did it, my red dot came back. Hope you find your solution soon.
