Gathering Wooden Sticks From Trees?

It just seems stupid that we have to look into buildings for wooden sticks when there are trees around. I just got shot in my leg in a country side far away from towns and my morphine got ruined. the guys also did not show up again, i can't die, i can't suicide. i have to crawl for hours maybe now. It would be great if we could just gather wooden sticks from trees in these kind of situations.

Yes hopefully one day they will introduce being able to actually make sticks from the trees and bush as long as you have an axe,

this has been mentioned before on these forums.

Well we can get berries from bushes, implementing sticks from trees seems rather effortless, hell i could probably do it in an hour if I worked at bi.
