A Happy Medium Between Urban/Woodland Camo?

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I come to you with a question, as I like to stay as hidden as I can, to get the jump on my would be assailants or bandits, ect. I am wondering if there is a way I can dress myself so that I don't stick out like a sore thumb in either environment, because I like being able to stay in the woodline, or move around cities/towns without grabbing unwanted "player" attention, I know that zombies are an entirely different thing, however I want to be able to not run around and be bright as the sun, any tips/advice on gear choices?

Ohh and I use a Sporter 22 and Amphibia, hence the reason I NEED to be the one hidden and acting first, lol...

The only thing I change when transitioning from rural to urban is my headgear. I go from a TTsKO boonie to a tactical helmet.

In urban environments, you're pretty much sticking out like a sore thumb regardless if you're on the street. Inside a building, camouflage is negligible.

I don't think urban camo is all that necessary, or at least a hell of a lot less needed than forest camo. Anything darkish should be fine in urban areas IMO. Only in forests is the colour a real problem.

EDIT: but the best middle ground whould probably be olive drab, because camo patterns are a bit more visible in cities, yet the colour offers good camouflage in forests.
