Fill bottles with rain

• Actions: You can catch rain into canteen and water-bottle from inventory

 

but i didn't find where to trigger this action. Any hint?

Did you try putting it in your hand and using the action menu?

 

(I haven't actually done it but that seems logical to me).

I tried to put a canteen in my hands, stand in the rain, wait. Raise it, wait. It didn't fill up, maybe try putting it on the ground?

Ok, first you can only fill bottles and canteens.

 

Of course it only works if it's raining :P

 

I just clicked right mouse button on canteen and chosed "fill canteen with rain" (didn't know the text exactly)

It worked for me but with every click on "fill canteen with rain" you get 1% water into the canteen.

Don't know about canteen, but with simple bottle probably does not work

It works with the water bottle and the canteen, right click it while you're outside in the rain. Canteen gets 1-2% each time, water bottle gets 1-3% roughly.

I've already tried equip / equip+combat / and scroll wheel but nothing.

So right clicking while container is in inventory, right? I'll try soon

This is how you do it!

Right click on the bottle in your inventory, while you're outside in the rain.

Ironic how you can catch water with a canteen or water bottle in rain, but you can still dehydrate without these items. Ever hear of opening your mouth and looking up?
