Need primary weapon to stay quiet? (Prone_

I've found that if I don't have a primary weapon equipped, I can only crawl fast, not slow. Fast crawling gives me away to zombies much farther away, meaning it's even harder to find my first weapon without getting aggroed. Why can't I crawl slowly when I'm unarmed, or with only a sidearm?

I've wondered this myself. Does anybody have an answer? Never gotten myself in a live-or-die situation over it (since I'm overcautious around zeds), but I can see how it might screw somebody's plans up.

I noticed this as well. Wish we could slow crawl when we don't have a weapon. However, earlier in the day, I was able to "zoom" in a weapon without having a weapon. Trying a single right click and see if that slows you down. Might work; might not.
