using pistol while on ladder

so i got killed few times when i am on ladder because someone shot me, i didnt can do nothing and if i would have pistol i maybe could survive.what do you think about if we could have pistols used on ladders?

Nah, would be a bit op. You can just be on a ladder an kill all zombies around... they can't do anything against it.

Even if you indeed,carry the same weight a donkey would,

i don't see a problem in you climbing a ladder,grab with one hand

and shoot with the other.The way the game's set up makes you defensless

while going up a ladder and that really needs to change.I think it's a good idea ;)

yup, I saw videos of people climbing down ladders around which where grouped zombies, he walked on their heads and left without a hit. It was ridiculous. You are such an easy target while on a ladder. You should be able to slide down the ladder (hey, we might actually have a use for gloves now ^^), shot, but only with a handgun, attack with a small weapon.

 

And most of all:

But they grasp at you and try to grab you as go up, and not just wait idiotically and idly in front of the ladder. They might not be able to reach you but they are gonna call all their friends over until the building is swarming with zombies.

Scenario:

 

You are running from a hoard of zombies lured from a haphazard shot you fired mere seconds earlier to incapacitate one of their kind.  Up ahead you see a hospital with a roof access ladder on the side.  That is your only chance.  A glance over your shoulder reveals a dozen zombies at varying distances keeping on your trail.  You slam into the ladder with not a second to spare in slowing down.  Hand, foot, hand, foot, hand,fo-- Gah!  The zed you hit earlier that didn't go down has your ankle in its cold grasp.  You shake and kick, but it doesn't yield.  You hook one arm around the rung and with the other grab the .45 from your waistband.  Your hand is shaking as what used to be alive tries to welcome you to their starved midst.  You fire once, twice.  The grip loosens and you are able to yank your leg free.  Another zombie lunges and you stop him cold with two to the chest.  The rest are closing in now, standing on their comrades.  You let loose the other two rounds and shove the warm barrel back into your waistband and reach for the heavens.

 

Yeah, I would play that.
