Hunt The Dev

I was browsing reddit, when I came across this on the DayZ Sub. I thought that a "Hunt The Dev" event would be pretty fun, and there'd be a reward for when the dev would be killed.
There'd be a single dev which you'd have to kill. Everyone except the developer being hunted starts from scratch, but all the developer gets is some food and some water. The developer has a team of friends (other developers?) that help and protect him. You must gear up and try to kill the dev. It'll be a 1 chance thing, so if you die, you get kicked from the server and won't be able to rejoin until the game is over.

That would be just another excuse for PvP, people would KoS to get rid of the opposition, and then the Dev's team would have no problem dealing with the remaining few.

 

Edit: Forget I said anything. I misunderstood the important part of your post. Yeah, I like that idea.

Yeah, encourage people to hunt and kill other players. That's exactly what this game needs right now.

Actually, no. In order to kill a whole team of devs, you'd have to team up with people. That, along with the fact that if you die you can't respawn, will most likely encourage players to both make alliances and stay away from firefights.
