Heart Attacks?

So, i know they implemented heart attacks, which seems random and weird to me.  I told someone that i keep getting a notification saying my leg hurts like every minute and they told me its suppose to be the early stages before a heart attack.  Does anyone have info on how heart attacks work? signs? how to prevent them? If you can die from them etc?

You can only get a heart attack while you are unconscious currently. At which point another player must check your pulse to see if it's irregular or not.

Regular heartbeat = Unconscious (Can only be treated with Epi-Pens)
Irregular heartbeat = Heart Attack.(Can only be treated with Defib)

Example: Your buddy passes out. You check his pulse, and from that, determine if he needs an epi-pen or defib.

ok, but you can pass out from having an irregular heart beat right? like your just running around and you fall over from a heart attack?

realistically? yes. Game wise? probably not, at least thats not how I read/understand it

No. As I said, you can only start having an irregular heartbeat if you are passed out. Currently, you cannot randomly have a heart attack while you are conscious. It's up to your friends to diagnose you, once you pass out, by checking your pulse.

I hope I reiterated that well enough.
