Logging out in a safe place is the key, at the moment.

Anybody testing Exp Branch night time servers please look to see if head torches are working please.

 

Sorry can't test it. All  stuff is looted, impossible to find anything. Yesterday at nigth I threw a helmet in the middle of the forest in the server DE 0-3 accelerated time test and todoy when i log in the helmet was still there so i think all map will be looted right now.
 
One question: there are not server resets on experimental?

Any ideas if this fix is going to go stable today?

 

I appreciate they dont have to do it and im not demanding it... just off the back of a tweet by Dean Hall that suggested it could happen, id like to think it would and with that would like to know for definite (either way) rather than 'hoping' and then potentially being disappointed somewhat.

 

I know we are relying on the server providers as well I believe, which should really imo bend over backwards to accommodate DayZ and their customers as the amount of money they must have made in supplying these servers it probably obscene!

head torches dont have proper light source yet? Because regular flashlights do so you can test it even when its daytime.

Will you guys please fix the major lags? The game is currently unplayable.. me and my friend are getting quite fed up about this..

I know it's alpha but still. before the patch we played fine..

Just when i thought that i was going to have some good experience with this game playing today with more 3 friends in the experimentals servers (no battleeye running on them ). We 4 got killed by a hacker using invisibility plus aimboot  with an m4 headshooted us 4 in like less then 5 seconds. So... FIX THE DAMN PROBLEM WITH THE STABLE FU### SERVERS VERSION "42.wathever"  THATS BEEN ON EXPERIMENTAL TESTING FOR LIKE MORE THEN 5 WEEKS!!!!

I was in the exp server and my headtorche worked. But it was daytime.

Exp servers are a lot better, but im switching back to the laggy servers.. The exp servers are completely looted. Im dying the whole time of starvation.

As usual. I hope that if they can't push to stable today they will increase the number of experimentals availables again.

I found this new melee system too difficult. It was easier to swing axe from movement with simpler action. Spawning zeds are welcomed but spawning time is too hectic for my taste. Other features are more than welcome, keep good patching on!

 

wait when the zeds can knock you down.or when you can worn out. you will have hectic AND panic ;D

So there I was in the middle of cherno, stable branch, and the zombies instantly spawn in when I entered a empty streets, not to mention the invisible zombie hits....

 

This, this needs to be fixed

Its not final. Just "rudimental" respawning. I think its better than to wait for server-restart (beside that it is just a balancing-issue)

Omg I cannot believe how much people whine in this game.

 

I played on experimental for over 4 hours last night.  Most smooth and stable Dayz I have ever played.  Can't wait for this to be pushed out to stable. 

 

Oh and one more thing, the fast zombies are freeking awesome.

I totally agree. Experimental last night felt amazing. I had to log on to a UK server, from Ohio, and had zero lag issues, desync or rubberbanding. Plus the zombies able to sprint is freaking awesome. Though I did see a very strange occurrence. Was up by the radio tower north of Three Rivers when a zombie started sprinting at me. It appeared to jump because it launched at me as we were going down hill but it died in the air and I was running away from it being a new spawn without a weapon (every freaking item had been looted everywhere). And on that note I really hope they increase the spawn places so loot isn't so scarce always. I actually let a zombie kill me once last night because I was literally dying of starvation... a first.

Stable just received a ~120mb patch.

I just checked, it's still the same version. (42.116181)

Hmm as for experimental I see just some 8 servers (SE and UK), almost every of the full. When I try to join I'm getting "waiting for host" black screen. Darn.

I had to learn what the berrie bushes look like so that I can survive to make my way inland to where there is still loot.
