Server time

Does the server time run in real time? like is there 24 hours to a dayz day? seems like it does but i wasn't certain, and if it does, isn't that a little weird.  Especially if when the game is released the peak time would be afternoon during the weekdays, it would seem like it would always be nighttime if you tend to get on after 6 due to your schedule....

24/7 Day servers are all I play in.

Sadly yes, it is a 24 hour cycle. Should be 19 hours so that you always play at a different time of day. 24/7 day servers are a cancer upon dayz but I can't really blame them since night is so unrealistically dark right now.

And if you use flashlight, light goes trough walls and every gamma at max bandit will shoot you on sight. Not that I am not one of them :D
