Range of sight

Hey survivors,

 

I was wondering on what the range of sight depends.

 

As you can see in this screenshot, I can't see any building behind the railroad station building, whereat a friend of mine can see all buildings up to the coast.

We both have same video settings, so this doesn't seem to be the reason.

 

Any ideas what causes this problem?

I too have this problem.  It sucks.  

 

Have you played about with draw distances in the files?  I did and thats when I noticed this happening, so I changed em back to original values and the problem is still there.

Messing with these, especially sceneComplexity and viewDistance determines what you can see i think.

No, I haven't changed any files at all.

I even tried a fresh reinstall of the game, but the problem still exists.

Any more ideas about how to solve this?

 

Even a complete fresh windows setup didn't solve the problem :(

I'm running at very high settings and I don't have this problem.
