Purchase question

Recommended Posts

So a few weeks back i bought CO from steam, and now my brother upgraded his pc to get into DayZ would he be able to play with my game copy or will he need to buy another one to play?

I know this is kind of an stupid question but i've never used steam until now lol and i don't want to get banned by battleye or something like that.

I know that I can put my Arma II: CO on both my desktop and my laptop, and it plays fine. But, as for playing with your brother at the same time, online, with you, that I think you may get in trouble for. If you are going to be playing at separate times, I think you'll be okay.

You can't play with him at the same time because the key is the same. One or both of you would be kicked for "illegal copy".

If you want to play with him, you got to buy another copy of the game.

If you aren't playing together but simply just "hot-seating", then you're fine.
