help a Bambi

hi, 

 

I am a new Bambi and i have downloaded and installed dayz standalone, but when i click on play the screen comes up to select a server but nothing shows up in the section area its just black. I am sure  i at least meet the min specs. so i am confused any thoughts, i dont know if it might be my internet, i am currently staying in India. could really use some help.

Do you mean you cant find servers?

If so

First I would check your filter - there is that ping filter. Have you tried to put that for example to 500?

Next you should check what version of dayz you are running. I had that problem also but it fixed by simply reinstalling the game. Not sure if you can fix it another way.

It's mostly likely the ping filter. At default, the filter is set to only show servers with a ping of 100 or less, and you're probably going to be hardpressed to find a server with that low of a ping.

Make sure you've checked "Inernet" at the top of the server list. It's on "LAN" by default.
