End of Map?

Searched, but couldn't find an answer:

So, what happens if you hit the end of the map (game world)?

Invisible wall, immediate death, you continue into a 'no loot zone' so you eventually starve to death ...

I'm walking North for a quite a while now to find the 'end of the world' ...

This is where the coastal road ends in the West.(Just skip to the end as nothing much happens in the video) If you continue onto the plain grasslands, youll find nothing and eventually I think you fall into nothingness or starve, although Im not positive.
