Utes, missing in action.

Whatever happened to Utes? It was mentioned and shown in one of the early devblogs south of Skalisty Island. I thought it was a brilliant idea, making Skalisty an awesome choke point for people who don't have access to future boats.

They decided to scrap Utes and add a custom built island instead.

The island will be made from the ground up and will most likely contain a prison.

Last I heard it's still in the map, it's just hidden under the ocean ;)

 

It's not set in stone what they are going to do with it or whether they will keep it at all. It didn't really work that well and Rocket has talked about the possibility of a new island instead made from scratch.

I hope they make this huge map where they combine all the popular maps from DayZ commander such as Taviana, Namalsk, Panthera and Lingor
