DayZ Standalone For Macs?

Hello, ive been looking in on the new dayz standalone game and it really looks amazing! except, i have a mac laptop. just to be sure i want to know if dayz will be coming to macs. if it is it would probably make more money and i would be really happy! thanks!

It will not anytime soon.. until then Bootcamp your mac. Run Dayz off of windows OS bootcamped partition.

Macs are a popular topic today - there's a slightly different thread in New Player discussion as well. I can confirm that it does work in bootcamp with windows 7. I'm running it on my 2012 retina MBP. I've had to turn the graphics settings down a bit, but it plays just fine.

I'm with the army nerd on this one too. I run it on my 2012 MBP retina and have mostly normal graphic settings and it runs great. Using windows 8.1. Haven't done a FPS but unless I'm dumb enough to run into the projects of Cherno it's fine.
