zombies losing track system

Recommended Posts

Its way to easy to fool zombies so they lose track. You just have to run in a barn, to slow them down and then run away.

My suggestions would be:

-Never lose track like in earlier releases.

-Them be able to run in buildings.

-Smart zombies that flank you if you run into a building.

They are weak.

Until one of them knocks you out and breaks your legs in one hit. Then youll think "holy shit this guys are scary RUN FUCKING RUN ARGH"

Personally, I think zombies should always walk and require headshots, and never losing track of you is stupid. if I get 40 miles away from that hopper he should not follow me.

i don't think they are easy, they break you leg or knock you know, and i think the chances are pretty good for that, i think they can make them more dangerous, but only in veteran or expert difficulties, so we (new people) don't die RIGHT AWAY! :)

It's only easy to lose them when you're in the middle of a town. Out in the middle of the wilderness, they already chase you for far too great a distance, and giving them infinite track would be completely terrible, because it means every time you aren't in a town you're just totally screwed against them.

If the zombie run speeds are slown down i think it would work that zombies would run inside buildings. And of course the zombies should zigzag a little less too.

Not saying that zombies shouldn't run as fast as you.

They shouldn't be that strong. But running away is to easy.

I prefer walking zombies, too. But in a game like dayz there have to be enormous amounts of them to be a threat. Arma2 cant handle this I assume.

I never encountered one in the wildness?! But with infinite track you still can run to the next town/city and get rid of them. With melee weapons this is now even less of a problem, because you never run out of ammo.

This, and making them harder to fool would be the best way in my opinion. (Also no instant knockdowns)
