kichilron 8550 Posted March 9, 2014 If you're searching for good protection for your server that is being updated regularly to help you sort out issues with hacks in a decent amount of time you will have to pay for an antihack. The AH can't be more than 1-2 months worth of serverrental, which isn't over the top for me. In my oppinion the investment is well worth it, which is why I am insisting on this. 40$ isn't too much for what you're getting with it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

We run it on our own dedicated which cost a lot of money. That is one of the reasons why we dont want to spend a lot on anti hacks. Like they always say, if you want the best, don't scrimp on the necessities which unfortunately AH's are very necessary. It would be a shame to have put the money into creating a dedicated server only for it's reputation to suffer early due to sub-standard protection. djporternz 644 Posted March 9, 2014 Can you recommend any good anti hacks? TBH, that $40 one is probably the best. Pay the money, or collect donations from your members to pay the money. It IS worth it for a PUBLIC server. Or you could do what my group did, and run our own 'private' server without Anti-Hacks. We run a strict '1 strike' policy WRT hacking on our ArmA and DayZ servers. Only ever had to global ban 1~2 people in over 4 years. But that might be more a reflection of our group more than anything. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
