    Yeah, hackers.... I've actually never had a hacker ruin my day before on this game, but at my 91st hour it finally happened. I'm sitting in Balota, with my Mosin that has a Pristine Compensator and a Pristine Long Range Scope.... You know, pretty easy loot to find, right? Then all of a sudden as I walk downstairs in the PD building, and I get a black screen and a message saying "you are dead".

My first assumption is that I was shot by a sniper from an enormous distance, but I realize that is impossible after I went back to Balota  see where I could've been shot from. I was just under the staircase, and the door was closed in the room next to the staircase, nobody could've shot me through the window, and I heard no gun noise. I also heard no footsteps after I died, so it was obviously a hacker. Sad that some people have to go to this level that they are so stupid, that they can't play a game, but instead have to ruin it for others.

It's could be the stairs bug. Sometimes you will break your legs, other times you will get the death screen. Where you running while going down the stairs?

Most likely it was an exploiter and not a hacker.  You could have also been hit with the random die for no reason bug.

Also, there are a lot of ways to glitch / exploit and kill people in spots where they can see you but they can't be seen. It's still cheating, but certainly not hacking.

You have to be careful with hackusations. When you get killed by a legitimate hacker (oxymoron), you'll know. You. Will. Know.

Yeah, I don't think that the PD building has been exploited yet since it's a new building and I have not seen or read that people are already doing it.

    Nope, I wasn't running while going down the stairs. I was slowly walking, and I died when I got to the door, which was about 5-10 seconds after I reached the bottom of the stairs. I have died from ladders 4 times before, though... #Alpha

What was the population of the server you were in? Also, what kind of building were you in, since I think you meant the MP building located at airfields rather than the police station on Svetlo. The reason I'm asking is because maybe you got shot by someone that's exploiting inside of empty space on the building. You can't see them, but they can see you. It's a common practice by people that exploit on that one MP building type at airfields.

It is sad practice happening lot in Balota and NEA as well.

 

Some folks dread to go to those places just because of this phenomenal douchebaggery.
