So i have my server now... one question to the devs and the staff...

If someone on my server has the name Admin or Administrator am i alowed to kick that player telling him to change name?

 

Also people on server with sexual names like di**suc*** am i alowed to kick them off server too?

Yes you are allowed to kick people who have sexually/racially offensive names, but people who have names like "administrator" are new players who have their windows profile named "administrator"

If i change my chat channel to global as admin... Is it possible to use my mic to talk globally to all players then?

and if that works... can i hear them reply to me?

Yeah, it defaults to using the windows user name. I haven't had any yet but I'd strongly consider kicking players with names like owner or admin. If it's allowed unchecked then at some point it's going to cause an issue down the line. May as well nip it in the bud early.

I did a search in DaRT player database for my server and i found 5 people that has been on with the name Admin and 3 with the name Administrator out of 657 players.

so i had a few of them on my server in just a weeks time

Probably worth adding something into your MOTD telling players to change their name if it's admin or owner, just to give them a bit of fair warning. We really need the ability for admins at least to text chat on global.

I think at one time I had "Owner", "Owner(2), Admin, and administrator on at the same time.

• Server name (Within certain limitations, which are called out below) 
• Server mode (between Regular and Hardcore) 
• Server time at restart 
• Server MOTD (Message of the Day) 

You may perform the following actions on your server :

• Restart server
• Kick abusive players (harassment, cheating, exploiting bugs)

           - Be aware that this can tread a fine line, and if you are found to be violating this rule your server may be disabled until the issue can be addressed.
