void_public 7 Posted March 8, 2014 Well basically there are a lot of servers that insta-kick you (and even have it mentioned in their title) when you join and you are not member, as far as I am aware, they are not allowed to do that?! I think its just a joke, and we should get rid of these servers...
LaughingJack (DayZ) 767 Posted March 8, 2014 Report the crap out of them, really. It is forbidden by the server rules. Look at that (rules and how to report) :http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/158966-dayz-standalone-server-hosting-rules-server-reporting/

As I have reported them, yet they still are in working order ( with the same ID/IP Address ). Why don't they set up a separate team/willing people who can be trusted to do this and crack down on them. Then again, it is Alpha, so might not be so bothered at the moment but the time comes they might be more strict in the terms. However this does not stop people re-hosting the same, under a new name and new IP address. So its a tough cookie to get around and dealing with it. Normal, BEC is good at this, we get a fair few high ping people who joins after the server restarts. So you know they join for the looting side of things. BEC kicks them in about 30-40 secs of them joining. Another note, is that when you are kicked from that server. I do the following: 1) Make note of the server IP address.2) Take a screen shot when you have been kicked3) Go back to your server history and take a screen shot of the server information ( will have its name and IP address ). djporternz 644 Posted March 8, 2014 Servers If you encounter an abusive admin or server, please do not post it here on the forums. We cannot do anything with these reports. It is not productive and does not expedite action taken against these servers. Please report them to the GSPs directly following the pinned DayZ Standalone Server Hosting Rules and Reporting Guidelines.

And they want to make money...and shutting down servers of a paying customer (who will get no refunds) is a really good way to ensure, that this customer will go to another server hoster. On the other hand, they DayZ team has already stated, that, if too many complains come about a hoster that does not shut down servers when they violate the rules, the hoster will be left out for DayZ.So yeah, a "report" tool in the server browser list, that reports to the hoster AND the dayZ team will be necessary at least when DayZ hits Beta... What you said about contacting the games server providers I have and it gets no where and as for number 4) option I have also done that my self to show some has been good and some has not been good. The idea might work, if they do a public hive, along with blacklisted servers which filters though to the clients of DayZ. So then they do not see the "blacklisted" servers and end up getting kicked or with out no reason for being kicked.
