Overheating/crash

I used to play the mod, arma 3 altis life or breaking point without any problem..

 

 

yes but pc is now older than before ;)

 

every time you using all component is die small amount

 

same for anything is have limit of life time and maybe is going to time when is not good for this game :|

 

me too I was play mod and arma 3 with old pc low setting no problem but when SA coming was no good doing blue screen crash every time :(

 

playing game like arma 2 and arma 3 taking the toll on all pc  ;)

 

nothing stay like new for ever :(

Tried making an overriding setting in the nvidia control panel on launch of dayz?

I would go with replacing the heat compound and see if you can find some after market fans with higher airflow if you have to stick with a laptop.

As he's only having this problem with dayz, there are other things to try before going through all that.

 

You could run furmark and get yourself a benchmark or see if you can reproduce the failure.

he said directly in his post that he cleans it often.

 

by the way the pc he is listing above is a laptop. Chances are it has a fan mounted for a side port to vent heat.

 

Makes me wonder if it has ever been blown out completely the right way.

Yeah, like an actual cleaning, or a compressed air can to the external vents.

 

It's happened to me, where the fans get fucked, and stop working on GPUs. etc, then it just shits the bed.

I wouldn't jump to that if you're able to play other high demand games. You need to troubleshoot it hard. Tried rolling back your drivers?
