mark117h 7 Posted March 7, 2014 Hi All I am currently a "NOOB" as they say when it comes to gaming,although been gaming for 25 + Yrs on and off. Me myself am new to DayZ,But thought that this would be quite a decent little gem to have in the game at some point, I am also sure that a few serious players and casual gamers alike would also like the idea.I dont know maybe even the dev's might like it "Hopefully". Seeming that DayZ is a survival horror kind of crafting game,then how's about the idea of fully ridable bikes,yes you read right, Bikes, I.E. - Mountain Bikes, BMX's, Racer's etc etc. what you could do is seeming that you have to loot for food, water, weapons, then for the bikes if you are lucky enough to find one fully built and working is to have the player in the game go finding the parts for the bikes, say ummhhh chain, brakes, wheels, seat, handlebars, you know the parts to get it ridable and working in the game. What you would have to do then is to create and make the said bike and restore it to some kind of working ridable state.like you would when adding say scopes to rifles etc, there could be a game engine/Mod for the bikes that once built would make them full on usable within the DayZ environments, To ride the Bikes you could have two keys on the keyboard for peddling the left and right foot once seated on said bikes,say "N" & "M" Tapping them asynchronously to get some movement going Anybody else on board with this then lets here your take on the ideaCheersmark117h P.S.Just think about it, blasting round Cherno on ya BMX'S, Mate in tow piggybacking on it haha lol the fun,you see where this is going right :D :beans: Peace Out To All 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
