All my character is gone!

Hello everyone!

 

I'm playing DayZ for about 2 weeks, and yesterday I've been formatting my PC so today I've noticed all my gear and stuff are GONE!

I know DayZ is still on alpha but hey, it's ruining my game experience!

I thought all my data is saved on Steam's Cloud but...

 

Please help someone!

If YOU are deleting your character, you can't blame even the very alpha. 

 

And... have you ever read the warning?

 

I gave this protip too many times, but:

1. Uninstall

2. Wait for final version

3. Reinstall

4. Enjoy

I haven't deleted my character! Every Steam game is saved in the cloud so I supposed DayZ is too.

How can he delete a toon that is supposed to be saved in a hive? I think rocket abused his admin rights...

Classic! Soemtimes it just happens that your char wasn't saved to the central server. Happened to me 3 times already - 2 Times because of server restarts. Just don't fall in love with ur gear too much. It can be gone bcause of a bambie killing u with his axe while u'r already logged off or just because it wasn't saved to the server. Play, collect some experience and get used to lose all of ur stuff without a reason.
