In most countries rifles and shotguns are more common than handguns. They are far more useful to hunters and sportsmen. They are often less strictly regulated than handguns. Long guns often remain available in places where pistols are outright banned.

i agree.  Its the intend with the weapons, handguns were made for killing poeple, rifles are for hunting, shotguns for bird hunting.  Therefore there are usually more rifles amongst many countries than handguns.  I dont mean crazy, kill shot someone from 1000m rifles, but rifles like the b95 is a perfect example of what im talking about in the countryside.

Idk about any good brand from outside the US, but you get where I'm going with this..
